What a treat!  This mini quilt popsicle made with hexagons and is the perfect way to start your summer fun.  There is a combination of hand work and sewing by machine to construct the wall hanging.  Hexies are made with traditional English Paper Piecing technique.  Use this as a decoration all summer long.

Background and Backing – ¾ yard

Popsicle Hexi Fabric – 3 fat quarters

4” Scrap for Popsicle Stick

Binding – Fat Quarter

Batting – 16” x 25” piece

Thread for sewing hexagons (won’t be seen)

Thread for quilting

½” Hexagon Paper Pieces – 98  A hexagon template is provided to trace and use for making your own templates, if making your own you will need light weight card stock paper for the templates.  

Fabric Adhesive Glue – suggested  Aleen’s® Fabric Fusion
